Installing Photoshop Elements on Mac
When you open a photo in Photoshop Elements, you will see the options at the bottom of the image. You can change the resolution, edit the image, delete selected parts and most importantly, add text.
There are two buttons, Font and Effects. From the Effects button, you can either add layers, add effects to an existing layer or add effects to all the layers at the same time.
Use the lever to apply the effect, scale, crop, rotate or edit the image.
As you move the lever, you can see the preview of what your image will look like. The lever will also turn green, indicating that you’ve added a new effect.
You can now save the edited photo.
However, the changes you make in Photoshop Elements are not applied directly to the image. You have to do that in Photoshop.

Download Photoshop Elements
Downloaded a zip file and unzip it.
Download Photoshop Elements Setup (Mac)
Select the Photoshop Elements Setup (.exe) icon.
Click Continue to start the installation.
Click Install to start the installation.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
The installation process takes around 6-8 minutes.
You can double-click on the application icon to run Photoshop Elements.
You can now start editing an image.
There are two ways to open images in Photoshop Elements:
Click on the Photos button on the top right of the screen.
Hover your mouse over an image file and click the pencil icon on the bottom right to select it.
Using Photoshop Elements in Mac
When you open an image, Photoshop Elements creates a new layer above the photo’s background.
You can rename the layers by using the rename tool.
You can drag the layers to use the non-destructive editing tool.
You can use the Lasso to select parts of the image or the Magic Wand to select everything in the image.
You can also use the scroll tool to select the image area. You can use the magnification to view a small part of the image with higher detail

I want to uninstall some packages which I have installed using Homebrew:
brew list
and install some new ones:
brew install grpc
Now, when I run the brew list command again, I am getting the old packages:
$ brew list
webcrawler 0.9.5-1 py27_0
web_py 1.16.0-1
I want to get rid of the old ones and only have two packages in the list:
webcrawler 0.9.5-1 py27_0
web_py 1.16.0-1
I tried the following command with no luck:
brew unlink web_py
I am using OSX El Capitan.

brew unlink web_py
if you wish to remove web_py completely. You can also try
brew uninstall web_py
if you have installed web_py using homebrew, but it was only as a dependency. If you wish to uninstall that, then you can use
