Style Story Mode:
You’ll be playing as a silent protagonist guiding Alex through several of her daily tasks in a surreal, heightened fantasy world. As Alex spends more and more time in this world she will slowly go insane and “rewind” back to reality. The process of rewinding and going insane will repeat itself until you’ve found the meaning behind her insanity. Like The Binding of Isaac, players will have to guide Alex through each task by alternating between actions that will harm Alex or benefit her. The actions you take will have interesting effects on Alex’s relationship with the world, causing her to change radically.
She will become an insomniac, she will tear her clothes, she may find ways to kill herself, or she may start an accidental murder spree. The player will have to carefully guide Alex through each action and think about how Alex will react to the situation she’s in. Every action has multiple outcomes, which means every story is unique.
Throughout the game you will come across puzzles. Like the Death of the Author in The Binding of Isaac, the player will have to solve these puzzles in order to make sense out of Alex’s insanity and her relationship with the world. Every puzzle will have a solution, but the player won’t find it out until later in the game.
Every decision the player makes will lead to a different story, one that reflects a different take on the hero’s journey. In some cases Alex will have to decide to save or kill herself, in other cases the story will be about saving the world. Eventually Alex will find a way to save herself and her mind will be restored.
Battles:
There are several battles throughout the game, most of them focusing on beating a crowd of enemies. But also, during battles the player will have to be careful about how Alex is spending her points. In some battles the player will have to fight as many as six of the same enemy type. In others it’s more about surviving and saving Alex. For example, there will be a battle in a building that has a door that only has a small window. In that battle the player will have to worry about Alex slipping through the window, falling to her death, or the building collapsing in on her. You might also have to make a choice about who Alex can save and who she can kill.

Is it an experiment or a pure-love for adventure games? For me its an experiment that didn’t work but I still like the final product. It was in a way a video game and I had a lot fun making it. It was originally only a youtube gameplay made by a friend of mine.
I also wanted to experiment with different games of mine like a mix between Super Meat Boy / PixelJunk Eden /Boulder Dash 2
The Game is about not giving up. A solo game with only one protagonist. In the world there is no way to make it otherwise. You were not designed for this world. So try to save yourself and get your freedom.
About the Main Developer:
My name is Aern ( aern7music ) and I’m a lone musician working in a small studio. I was alone in this project. I created almost all of the music, the cut scenes and the story. The project was one of the most busy I ever made in terms of time.
The main reason for that was that I was trying to make a game with a classical structure like adventure games have. That structure is not there in the movies I would like to watch or in games. So I was trying to make a classical adventure game that is more in the movie style.

About the development:
When I started to start working on Demigod I never expected it to be released and still be a service today.
The game started with 8 of my favorite characters and a day one focus on telling a good story.
I changed my game plan when I started playing and started to design the game my way.
The game may have been open-source in the beginning but I have always had a vision of a game that is playable.
The game is about a world filled with mysteries and secrets and I want the game to have a lasting impact on the player.
This game makes me proud to be an indie developer and I am proud of what I am making.
See bug? I see multiple frames with light texture but I can’t see any deformations while in scenegraph (GLSL) everything is perfect but “light_todo_01” its distorted (have you seen it? maybe it’s my code error?
I think its because of normal map which only apply for diffuse map. Other maps will not apply the alpha channel so they won’t be visible.I will implement a texture with a pre-multiplied alpha to solve this.I will do this
